Insurance & payment
How payment works
In-network MNT
Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) is in-network with Aetna and United Healthcare in CA, AZ, VA, CO, NJ, and IA. Many plans cover oncology MNT at no out-of-pocket cost to the patient — we verify benefits before your first appointment.
Other insurance & cash pay
If your insurance is not Aetna or UHC, sessions are cash pay. A detailed superbill is provided after each session so you can submit it to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
HSA & FSA
Nutrition counseling with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for a medical diagnosis (including cancer) is typically eligible for HSA and FSA reimbursement. Save your receipt or superbill.
